If you have sex with a person that has never had sex and neither have you, could you still get AIDS, HIV, or STDs?
No. STDs are spread when one person is sexually active with someone who has an STD. However, because many STDs are asymptomatic (meaning no obvious symptoms), someone who has been sexually active may have an STD without realizing it, and should be tested for STDs. Also, while you may not get an STD through sexual activity, there are other consequences to consider. Risks of emotional distress, depression, and of course, pregnancy are also very real. STDs are very real consequences to be aware of, but are by no means the only risk taken when you engage in sexual activity outside of marriage.
